Patient Details
This 43-year-old patient sought surgery to address both functional symptoms and cosmetic concerns. She had long struggled with the physical burden of excessively large breasts, wearing approximately a 36H bra size, which contributed to chronic neck, shoulder, and upper back pain, shoulder grooving from bra straps, difficulty exercising, and frustration with clothing fit. In addition to reducing breast size, she wanted her breasts lifted to achieve a more youthful shape and better proportion with the rest of her body.
She was also bothered by loose abdominal skin, weakened abdominal contour, excess tissue, and fullness along the flanks. Her goal was to restore a flatter abdomen, improve waist definition, and create a more balanced silhouette.
To achieve these goals, she underwent a bilateral breast reduction with lift, extended abdominoplasty, and bilateral flank liposuction.
Postoperative photographs were taken 3 months after surgery.
